Mr. Morton

Hello! My name is Jacob, and I am thrilled to be part of the International Charter School of Atlanta community. With a Master of Arts in Teaching from Kennesaw State University, I bring a passion for science and a commitment to fostering the joy of learning and exploration in my students.

I believe in integrating innovative teaching strategies, including the use of new technological tools, to create an engaging and interactive classroom environment. My approach emphasizes understanding concepts through real-world phenomena, helping students see the relevance of what they learn in and beyond the classroom.

I am dedicated to creating a culture of learning where every student feels valued and empowered to take charge of their education. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my wife Trisha, and our two daughters, Ellie and Stella. We also have a cat named Fade and two German Shepherds, Danny and Xena.
