Hello!
I am Nuzrat Kabir. I am excited to return for my second year teaching middle school math at ICSAtlanta. I was born and raised in Bangladesh and moved to Georgia in 2013. I live with my mother, brother, and sister. I graduated from Georgia State University with a MAT in secondary mathematics education. As an educator, my goal is to make mathematics accessible and equitable to my students by encouraging them to doubt, think, make mistakes, question, and test. There is always room to research, play, create, and solve any problem--as Albert Einstein said, “Play is the highest form of research”.
I love teaching math because mathematical literacy helps me make sense of the world! I look forward to getting to know all my students and their families this year and enjoy learning math together!
