Hello! I am Carmen Astrid Cortés. Born and raised in Guatemala City, I have dedicated over 20 years of my life to teaching Spanish to students of all ages from kindergarten to high school. My passion is sharing the richness of the Spanish language and culture with my students. Family is very important to me; I am a proud mother of two wonderful grown children, Cesia and Esteban. When I am not in the classroom, I love to travel, dance, and stay active through regular exercise.
